I always say that making each session unique is the most challenging thing for an Ohio photographer. Why? Because while Ohio is beautiful in all seasons, it’s not the easiest to find locations that do not look like small towns, city-scapes, and, you guessed it, rolling hills and open fields. In fact, you will see open field pictures all over Pinterest if you search “Ohio engagement pictures” 😉

Here at Ashley Stein: Ohio Wedding Photographer, we know that it takes preparation to guarantee a successful engagement session. We start by asking our couples for a mood board (often times this comes from Pinterest) so that we can visualize the goals. We don’t ask for this for the photography style, but we ask so that we understand the target vibe, location, and outfit choices. After reviewing the Pinterest board, we choose the location and then move onto photoshoot outfit ideas.
