You wouldn’t imagine my excitement when I received a mood board from my soon-to-be bride for her Columbus, Ohio engagement pictures and it was full of motive black and whites and vintage vibes. I’m telling you, my heart nearly exploded.

From that moment, we planned locations and outfits and vibes and everything was right in the world.

Ok, I’m being dramatic.. but it is how I felt. I texted my best friend, Katie Finn, and was like “OMG OMG, all of my dreams are coming true”

And so I arrived to the scene. German Village. Everything was just as I imagined it would be in good ole Columbus, Ohio. It was vibe-y and perfect and the sun was shining just perfectly through the trees that lined the perfectly decorated homes. It was like a chapter in a romance novel and there sat Rob & Sarah, awaiting my arrival.

They were just as I imagined too. Content. Trendy. In touch. And ready for this dreamy engagement session to exist in the world. We were all ready for that.

You know, it’s kind of my thing to make couples feel comfortable. It’s my thing to put a camera in their face and reassure them that it is okay, and that they can kiss and love and be playful all the way through. This day, in particular, we spent all of our time in one tiny town and we walked blocks (a few times) and it allowed us the chance to talk, to laugh and to just embrace the moment. It was perfect. It was exactly the way I pictured.
